This introductory workshop is focused on providing a foundational understanding of how to effectively use ball, weight and breath for self myofascial release. You will learn key Yamuna Body Rolling exercises, using various sizes of inflatable balls, to help sustain your body and physical practice. Exercises that will be covered in this workshop include: hamstrings, spine, psoas and more.
YBR is developed to prevent injury. The method is effective for everyone. It will increase your vitality through deep myofascial release, bone stimulation and neurological re-patterning so you can achieve a more beneficial structural alignment. The remaining workshop fee can be paid by cash, cheque or e-transfer on the first day of the workshop. A friendly e-mail reminder will be sent a week in advance.
The workshop is offered over two Mondays to enable learning, in between at home practice and return for review and new exercises. While registration for both dates is encourage, single day attendance is welcome.
WHAT TO WEAR:
- Close fitting clothing, example yoga tights and fitted tank top, t-shirt or long sleeve. - Hair tie, to put hair up. - Yoga Mat - Notebook and pencil - Water Bottle - If you already have your own Yamuna balls, please bring to the workshop
Yamuna Balls will be provided for the workshop. Equipment can also be pre-ordered or purchased at workshop date for continued at home practice.
